We believe learning data belongs to the student. We do not sell, rent, or trade student data to third-party ad networks, data brokers, or marketing intermediaries under any circumstances.
📊 2. Information We Collect & Why
Student Profile Essentials: Name or chosen student nickname, email address (via Google SSO or secure password login), selected class/grade level (e.g., Class 6–12, JNV, NDA, UPSC-CSE), and preferred avatar.
Academic Progress & Analytics: Quiz response accuracy, completion time per question, study streaks, subject strengths, chapters mastered, and earned Experience Points (XP). This data is strictly used to customize learning pathways and generate student report cards.
BhAI AI Study Companion Interactions: Educational queries submitted to the BhAI tutor to clarify math or science concepts. These queries are processed solely to return real-time study explanations and are never sold or used to build commercial behavioral profiles.
Device & Performance Telemetry: Anonymized browser type, operating system, and error crash logs to ensure high-performance rendering across budget smartphones and slow network connections.
🧒 3. Protection of Minors & Parental Rights (DPDP Act 2023)
A significant portion of BroPro Learning Hub learners are school students under the age of 18 ("Minors"). In strict accordance with the provisions for Children's Personal Data under Section 9 of the DPDP Act 2023:
No Behavioral Tracking of Children: We do not conduct targeted advertising, commercial profiling, or tracking directed at children.
No Harmful Content: All quiz questions, educational hints, and AI tutor responses are filtered through robust educational safety layers.
Parental Review & Consent: Parents or legal guardians have the full legal right to inspect the learning records of their child, correct any profile information, or request immediate account deletion.
💳 4. Financial & Payment Data Security
When purchasing optional premium memberships or digital test passes:
All payments are securely handled by RBI-authorized, certified PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateways (PayU / Cashfree / Razorpay).
Zero Storage of Card Data: BroPro Learning Hub servers never store, process, or view sensitive payment instruments such as complete 16-digit debit/credit card numbers, CVV codes, net banking passwords, or UPI PINs.
We only retain transaction metadata (Transaction ID, Amount Paid, Timestamp, and Payment Status) for digital subscription provisioning and accounting compliance.
🍪 5. Cookies & Local Offline Storage
BroPro Learning Hub is designed as an ultra-fast Progressive Web App (PWA):
Essential Session Storage: Used to maintain your student login state and prevent session timeouts during active exams.
Local Cache: NCERT questions and offline quiz modules are stored securely on your device's browser database (IndexedDB / CacheStorage) so you can continue learning during internet dropouts.
Zero Third-Party Ad Cookies: We do not deploy third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking pixels on learning pages.
🗑️ 6. Data Retention & Your Right to Deletion
In accordance with the DPDP Act 2023, you have full control over your personal data:
Right to Access: You can review your quiz history, XP ledger, and account details directly in your student profile dashboard.
Right to Correction: Update your name, grade, target exam, or password anytime in Settings.
Right to Erasure (Account Deletion): You can request complete deletion of your account, quiz history, and associated records by emailing care@bropro.in with the subject "Data Deletion Request". Requests are verified and processed within 48 hours.

Encryption in Transit: 256-bit TLS/SSL encryption across all platform endpoints.
Firebase & Cloud Security: Robust security rules preventing unauthorized read/write access to another student's test scores or profile.
Role-Based Access Control: Strict administrative access restricted only to verified operational personnel.
